What colors and fabrics can we use to breathe new life into a bedroom or hotel room?
The world of textiles is changing just as rapidly as our ideas about comfort. This year, the focus is on the harmony between nature, technological progress, and the human desire for coziness. Here’s what’s trending in modern colors and fabrics.
🎨 Color Palette of the Year
1. Earthy and terracotta tones
Creamy white, warm beige, dusty rose-brown, and rich terracotta. These colors inspire calm and evoke natural materials—perfect for hotel lobbies or a relaxing home bedroom.
2. Soothing Greens
Menthol, sage, and deep burgundy green. Green has been proven to relieve stress. Pair it with linen or cotton satin for a spa-like experience at home.
3. A subtle hint of saffron and honey
If you love accents, go for warm yellow (saffron) or metallic copper. These appear as decorative pillows or thin stripes against a white background—elegant, but not flashy.
🧵 The fabrics that make all the difference
Linen – a timeless favorite
It continues to dominate the market thanks to its texture and breathability. In 4- and 5-star hotels, linen bedding has become the standard for a "luxurious feel.".
Microfiber made from recycled plastic bottles
Sustainability is a priority. More and more manufacturers are offering sets made from recycled polyester, which is as soft as cotton but dries twice as fast—a huge advantage for hotel laundry facilities.
TENCEL™ and bamboo
These viscose fabrics are absorbent, hypoallergenic, and silky soft. The trend calls for blending them with organic cotton for maximum breathability.
Trends in bedding in recent years have shown a variety that caters to
a variety of styles—from natural and pastel tones to bold contrasts and sparkle. Whether you prefer a simple or striking style, a modern bedspread will give your bedroom a fresh and contemporary look. The right bedspread can completely transform the look of your bedroom and turn it into a cozy and stylish retreat. Whether you’re looking for a modern accent or prefer a classic style, there’s a bedspread for every mood and preference.
